Making Network Segmentation Observable Network segmentation is a foundational security and reliability control, but it’s only effective when you can observe it. In this workshop, you’ll get hands-on with Hubble to make Kubernetes network traffic visible and understandable. By working with real flow data, DNS context, and protocol awareness, you’ll learn how to validate segmentation policies, uncover unexpected connectivity, and troubleshoot communication paths with confidence. You will learn how to: Visualize real network flows to understand and validate network segmentation Apply identity-aware, DNS-aware, and protocol-aware visibility to troubleshoot connectivity issues Detect unintended or unexpected communication paths across segmented workloads Use Hubble (UI, CLI, and historical data) to investigate and explain network behavior in Kubernetes Access the lab from this session.
