This short video looks at what Cisco's acquisition of Isovalent means for the open source community around Cilium, Tetragon, and eBPF. It focuses on continuity, community investment, and what users can expect going forward. So what does the Cisco acquisition mean for the community, open-source engagements, and so on? The phenomenal answer there is that nothing changes. The community will continue to thrive and be supported by Isovalent and Cisco. In fact, we are introducing an advisory board that will steer the Isovalent efforts inside Cisco to ensure that, from an open-source perspective, we continue to be open-source first and recognize not only the needs of Isovalent and Cisco, but of the overall industry, because Cilium, Tetragon, and our open-source projects have become foundational building blocks not only for our companies, but for the industry overall.
