About this session Take the role of an OpenShift platform owner preparing for the launch of a new customer-facing application. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll use Isovalent Enterprise Platform capabilities integrated into the cluster: tiered network policy with Isovalent Networking for Kubernetes, LoadBalancer IP allocation and Cilium BGP advertisement, Hubble Timescape for retained flow visibility, and Isovalent Runtime Security with Tetragon. You’ll begin with a healthy application path, apply platform guardrails, advertise the Storefront VIP, allow the intended customer traffic, and review dropped and forwarded flows in Timescape. You’ll then apply a focused runtime policy to the payments workload and verify the native Tetragon event. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Apply Admin- and Normal-tier network policies. Verify LoadBalancer IP allocation and Cilium BGP routes and publish using Gateway-API. Use Hubble Timescape to understand traffic and policy changes. Apply and verify a narrowly scoped Tetragon runtime control. Connect networking, observability, and runtime security in an OpenShift operating model. Can’t make it to the live session? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording.
