Isovalent + Red Hat Workshop
Connecting Red Hat OpenShift to the Data Center with Isovalent Networking for Virtualization & Cisco Nexus One
3:30 PM @ Steam Whistle Brewing, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5V 3M9
Customers are adopting Red Hat OpenShift as shared infrastructure for containerized applications, AI services, and virtual machines. Network and security teams need to connect these workloads to the physical network, preserve tenant isolation, and understand application network patterns. This session introduces Isovalent Networking for Virtualization (INV) and how it brings Cilium networking, security, and visibility to both containers and virtual machines.
It will cover how Private Networks provide VPC-style segmentation and connect Red Hat OpenShift workloads to the Cisco Nexus One Fabric. Speakers will review current capabilities and product direction for Kubernetes Pods and Services, multi-cluster networking, VM mobility, and deeper Cisco integration. A guided lab will give customers and partners hands-on experience with INV and its approach to workload migration and enterprise connectivity.
The session will close with a lab and time to discuss deployment scenarios with the Isovalent, Red Hat and Cisco teams.
