The storage and analytics team is building an awesome new eBPF-based observability and analytics platform. It collects observability data from Cilium using eBPF, stores it in an OLAP database, and runs analytics workflows to provide insights into Kubernetes and other environments to end-users. As part of this team, you will help build and improve our data pipeline, utilize eBPF to collect networking, security, and tracing data.
Develop high-quality code in Go and potentially eBPF
Collaborate with peers to discuss and implement new security and networking observability use-cases
Collaborate with the UI team to provide amazing visualizations
Participate actively in the open-source community

M.Sc. in computer science or equivalent experience
Experience in working with remote teams, collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams
Strong ClickHouse experience and knowledge
Experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Native workloads and distributed systems
Desire to write beautiful and highly efficient code in Go
Multiple years of programming experience
Experience designing and/or implementing robust APIs (e.g. using gRPC)
Strong knowledge of SQL and database query optimization for large datasets
Experience in public speaking at technical open source conferences is a plus
