Sr. Manager, Regional Marketing

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Regional Marketing to support the regional and field marketing efforts for our enterprise offering, Isovalent Cilium Enterprise, in North America.  This role will report to the Head of Regional Marketing. In this role, you will collaborate with the Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, and the Sales teams to lead outbound campaigns and support inbound programs. You will drive the consistent delivery of events and campaigns that are key to the sales and marketing teams. You will need a strong sense for collaboration and the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Programs: Help drive demand creation and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads and creating brand awareness activities. Craft and complete targeted marketing programs to meet marketing goals, including but not limited to field events, account based marketing, (potential) trade-shows, KubeCon, etc. Partner and work closely with sales teams to ensure a strong marketing pipeline.

  • Digital: Plan and complete digital marketing campaigns to include account based marketing, webinars, and virtual programs.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: With Product Marketing to ensure distribution of (sometimes printed) materials such as case studies, datasheets, or giveaways to our local sales teams or whenever needed for campaigns.

  • Analysis: Regional reporting on program feedback, return on investment, attribution as well as iterations on future activities

  • Partners: Support and partner with local partner initiatives such as smaller seminars, lunch and learns, or programs.

  • Administrative: maintain and manage marketing calendar, regional budget, monitor speaking opportunities, research/attend third-party conferences and collect information for relevant programs across the regions to determine adjustments and improvements.


  • 5-7 years experience in regional and/or field marketing for open source technology products.

  • Must be located in the United States.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail. 

  • Creativity and an ability to experiment with new approaches to regional marketing for broader reach.

  • Adapt a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be a collaborate, with the rest of the marketing team to prioritize campaigns and events and with the sales team to support the regional audience.

  • Experience with marketing and sales automation tools such as HubSpot, SalesForce, Marketo, etc. is a plus.

  • Flexibility to travel at least 20% within the region (based on travel restrictions).
