As our Head of HR, you will report directly to the CEO. You will be a seasoned HR leader, who will guide, develop and help execute day-to-day operations associated with HR practices and processes across all functional areas including recruiting, onboarding, training and development, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and internal communications. We’re looking for someone that has a passion for working with highly technical people, and works well in a fast-paced, growth-stage startup.
Founded by Dan Wendlandt and Thomas Graf in 2016.
The company has been built as a global, remote-first company, with headquarters in Silicon Valley, USA, and Zürich, Switzerland.
Recently closed its Series B fundraising round, and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Thomvest, Google, Cisco, Microsoft and Grafana Labs (amongst others).
The Head of HR will be responsible for all HR related functions, specifically:
Performance management processes/programs.
Compensation philosophy and administration associated with compensation, equity, and retirement plans.
Benefits program & strategy.
Recruiting strategy; continue to support Isovalent’s growing requirements.
Coach and counsel managers around employee concerns, company programs, development, etc.
Manage employee relations and investigations within the company.
Manage processes to promote internal employee communication.
Ensure the company remains aligned and compliant with employment regulations.
Manage employee international mobility, work-permits, etc.
10+ years as an HR professional in the technology sector.
At least 5-7 years of experience as the primary HR point-of-contact within a high-growth company or business unit, preferably in the technology industry.
2+ years of experience in an international, remote-first start-up environment, or fast growing company.
Strong working knowledge of all HR functional areas including recruiting, onboarding, training and development, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
Detail and action-oriented individual with a passion for implementation, comfortable working as both a leader as well as an individual contributor.
Previous experience working executives, vertical leaders, and legal.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field required.
Experience building out centralized programs and delivering training to organizations.
